Where to Meet
The Rita B. ties up near 70 Commercial Street, in Downtown Portland, Maine. Because parking in Portland is hard to come by, many trips depart from the floating dock at the boat ramp at Bug Light Park, in South Portland, Maine. Google Maps is helpful for finding the boat ramp at Bug Light. If you're staying in downtown Portland, or parking isn't an issue for you and you'd like to leave from Commercial St. in Portland, that's fine by us, we'll happily pick you up at the water taxi pick-up dock located in Buoy Park, between the Casco Bay Lines terminal and Flatbread Pizza. This dock is a very short walk from where visiting cruise ships tie up. Street parking in Portland is free on Sundays, but hard to find after 9:00 am. If you're staying on any of the Casco Bay Islands, we can easily arrange to start and end your trip there.
