Harbor Cruises 
Gather some friends and enjoy a private harbor cruise around Casco Bay. 

See all the historic fortsfamous lighthouses and rockbound seascapes that make Maine famous. On these trips we'll do our best to spot some harbor seals and other wildlife. You'll also learn about Portland's history, from its role in World War II to commercial fishing and modern day shipping.

These harbor cruises last for about 2 hours and are available for up to six people. 


Explore Fort Gorges 

Fort Gorges is a local land mark and time capsule, completed in 1864, for the defense of Portland Harbor. Less than ten minutes of traveling aboard the Rita B. will put you on the stone pier, located near the flagpole in the picture above. You can explore and/or picnic on the small island fort and If there's time left, we'll see some other sights in Casco Bay

Trips to Fort Gorges are only available near high tide, we'll discuss timing when you book the trip. The trip lasts about two hours and is available for up to six people. 



Jewell Island Adventures


Twenty five minutes of steaming aboard the Rita B. brings you to Jewell Island, home to two WWII era Naval U-boat spotting towers. 

Stunning Views 

The towers offer breathtaking views of the Casco Bay Islands, Cape Elizabeth, Halfway Rock Light, and sometimes even Mount Washington.

Trips to Jewell Island can accommodate up to six people and is an active adventure perfect for visiting cruise ship passengers



Jewell Island's towers, beach and lagoon are all accessible by a quick walk on the Island's many hiking trails.

Whale  Watching  

The Gulf of Maine is the summer home to many species of large whales. 

Travel aboard the Rita B. to rich feeding grounds of Humpback, Minke, Finback and other whales and dolphins. Pack food drinks and extra layers as we spend a day (about four to five hours) searching for and watching these impressive and wild marine mammals in their natural habitat.

The Rita B. is available for hire for customized harbor cruises, fishing trips, birding, photography, exploration of Casco Bay Islands, scattering of ashes, trips to an exclusive island restaurant or any number of other trips for a $125.00 per hour with a 2-hour minimum.
